Performs testing and collects test data on engines with less than 10 liter displacement. Assembly line support of product related issues including returned parts from customer.
Performs testing on engines with less than 10 liter displacement; performs diagnosis of engines, components, systems, controls, Free-Runner test stands and test cell problems and initiates appropriate resolutions.
Performs engine builds, tear down, and analysis.
Assembly line support of product related issues including investigations and analysis. Review Engineering drawings and standards, submit deviations and product waivers.
Root cause investigation of returned parts from Chrysler Service and Saltillo (Plant).
Coordinate and manager PERs (Plant Evaluation Run) for product changes; new product introduction.
Grades and measures components.
Creates sketches for machining and fabricates necessary piping, tubing, and brackets from prints and drawings.
Installs engines and instrumentation of engines and components in test cells, test rigs.
Vehicle maintenance and PM’s.
Uses common tools such as Calterm, TestStand, and WiTech systems.
Understands and applies appropriate company and department rules and guidelines to work.
Interfaces with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions.
Participates in the maintenance of quality procedures.
Leads and participate in improvement projects.
Develops and gives presentations to customers and suppliers.
Knows and complies with all safety policies and procedures.
Demonstrates confidentiality as required.
Supports manufacturing Mini Business meetings.
Participates in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action.
Performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to get the job done.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Chauffeurs license required to drive Cab Chassis and 3500 Picks Ups.
One year of relevant experience required.
