This is an exciting opportunity in Fridley, Minnesota for a Logistics II - Line Stocker – 2ndShift

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:

The Logistics II - Line Stocker is able to provide a quality service to internal and external customers by managing inbound/outbound material flow and inventory accuracy. Must possess a demonstrated ability to learn all power industrial equipment.

  • Produces quality work by following defined departmental procedures and/or process documentation.

  • Through team meetings, communicates directly with customers to identify customer needs and maintains ongoing regular, direct contact with internal and external customers.

  • Coordinates the integration of parts, supply and unit orders. Expedites parts for orders.

  • Maintains accurate records of export shipments. Determines number and type of export containers necessary for export shipments.

  • Responsible for processing correct transactions in Oracle.

  • Properly disposes of scrap in the most financially, beneficial methods.

  • Rotates through various stages of team production.

  • Checks orders, specifications, or sample to determine work procedure, recognizes errors and advises Team Leader of any corrections or potential improvements in work process.

  • Accurately receives and breaks down incoming loads to provide a safe and manageable storage. Makes accurate counts and verifies against proper documents. Marks containers with proper quantity, part number and date, if necessary. Verifies the number of containers or loads as they are unloaded from incoming trucks and signs off bill of lading or freight bill.

  • Operates forklift and power lifting equipment in a safe and alert manner in the receiving, storing, movement, and shipping of stock/parts.

  • Performs visual inspections of parts and packaging to provide a quality product. Takes appropriate corrective action when quality defects are detected.

  • Actively participates in the identification of ways in which to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

  • Participates in all workplace safety and environmental policies and procedures by wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE), keeping work area safe and clean using 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain), completing annual safety training, and reporting any risks or hazards.

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3-5 years related experience or equivalent experience preferred (e.g., mechanical, engine or generator assembly)

  • Requires Forklift and/or power truck license, and some specialized training in packaging/mailing procedures, inventory systems, purchase order systems, and WMS

Compensation and Benefits:

Base hourly rate $19.25/hour with step progression to $22.65/hour Shift Premium (if applicable.) Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
