This is an exciting opportunity in Stoughton, Wisconsin for a Change Coordinator.
Cummins USA is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as New Product Development, Value Package Introduction and Systems Product Validation.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
The Product Change Management Team is responsible for ensuring that all requests for product changes receive the appropriate level of review and approval. The person in this role will function as a part of that team and be responsible for an assigned line of business.
The person in this role is responsible for:
Work cross functionally to ensure that all actions have been performed to review and approve change requests.
Lead weekly virtual committee meetings for assigned line of business to review change requests.
Maintain committee meeting notes, related databases and other records.
Coordinate with Change Specialists in all global regions to share information when needed.
Mentor and train users on the change management processes and the database used for tracking change requests.
Recommend and lead process improvement activities.
Serve as a backup for other team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Associates degree or two years of relevant experience in a related field. Four year degree preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced in Microsoft Office products
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to engage all functional areas to achieve required information
Ability to interact with appropriate management levels to resolve issues
Compensation and Benefits
Base hourly rate commensurate with experience.
